What to do on a Sunday when the sun is shining? Well, I will tell you, it is time for the Norwegian traditional Sunday hike in the mountains. As you might not know, the city I live in, Bergen, is surrounded by 7 beautiful mountains. And the best part is that it will only take me around 10 minutes to walk to the closest one.
There is nothing more meditative than hiking for hours up in the beautiful mountains when the sun is shining, you hear the sound of your feet in the snow and the birds singing in the trees. I believe those were also the thought for the rest of Bergen population, for a while there we were actually walking in a long line down the hills with people with strollers, dogs, skis, and everything.
